I bought the WoWz today. So it's official. I've got my three characters right now, but I feel the need to make a fourth. I need to be a Warlock or a Hunter so I can get a little pet/minion of some sort. This game is way more fun than Guild Wars, at least for me. It's got that goofiness that I crave in all things. Plus, I've got [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy, [livejournal.com profile] simontrueheart, [livejournal.com profile] firesongkvala, [livejournal.com profile] destertale and more playing along with me! I actually lucked out and got to name my first little character Inara. Then the other day, someone PMed me named "Kaylee" and said there was a Serenity guild that I was welcome to join. Apparently the girl who had the Inara character had just deleted her two days before I signed on! haha. I am so amused that I immediately found Joss fans on WoW.

oh, and speaking of Joss, BONUS my Serenity books came today from Amazon! They lied and said they shipped Saturday, but they had to have shipped earlier than that if they arrived this afternoon! Anyhoo, I'm gonna start reading the novelization tonight, and then I'll do the script. The visual companion is gorgeous. Now I just have to figure out how to both show it off at the Firefly party on Friday...and hide it so no one sees the spoilers! ([livejournal.com profile] destertale, we gotta get a group order together for those 'joss whedon is my master now' shirts...save on shipping haha)

Finished book 5 of Y The Last Man yesterday too...which made me sad as that is all of the editions in trade paper back format. And, of course, it ended with a major cliffhanger! *sigh* There's something about Y that I just love. It has those quirky pop culture references like BtVS and Ats. Plus, I like that it wasn't that every man died and the world turned into fluffy bunny land. The women are just as f*d up as the men ever were. Book 5 was freakin' awesome, if only for the showdown in the church. Especially when Yorick tried to pretend to be god and quoted Pulp Fiction at that crazy chick. That was HI-larious.

OH! I won three icontests this week!! I got first place at [livejournal.com profile] _notfadeaway_, third place at [livejournal.com profile] starwarshush and Most Creative/Unique at [livejournal.com profile] natalieicontest!! Yay! Now I just have to remember to enter this week instead of playing WoW 24/7! (quote challenge at [livejournal.com profile] sw_challenge hint hint go ENTER)

everyone wave hello to [livejournal.com profile] chasingxstarrs! She stood in line with me for RotS tickets back in May. Thru that crazy thing called MySpace, she found me and added me on LJ! Yay. I like having real people on my f-list...means more to read when I'm goofing off at work bwahahaha!

okay, the WoW is calling me. I can get a good hour in before bedtime!

Omg....I've seen so many people talk about it, and I would so have my soul sucked out by it if I had it. T_T My parents would really think I had issues then...

hahahha what is up with your icon! haha. that is hilarious.

yeah, the game is ridiculous, and then trying to explain why it's fun to people who don't play it...well it's like Sims 2. It's fun but for very silly reasons.

but yeah, don't buy it. nooooooo. I mean, you're bad enough with the LJ RPing, something I could never do. ANd this game is addictive to me! So we'd probably just never see you again.

hahaha. It amused me so much when I saw it. I had to have it. ;)

Man...I got my Mom addicted to Sims before our computer crashed. She still talks about 'her little people'. heehee.

I have an addictive personality I think. It's really good that I am not into drugs or I would be hardcore. lol. I would be a WoW zombie. It would be bad. I would show up on LJ just to say 'WOOOOOOO WoW!!!!' and leave again.

um...I think it's orangerful too hahaha. I can't tell! I still don't understand MySpace at ALL. I totally got it just so what happened would happen - the people from the star wars line found me and i have a way to contact a few other buddies.

I have a theory for who Toyota's contact, Dr. M, is...but I won't say because if it is, it'll be cool surprise.

What you can do is go to your local comic store and either purchase or read the next few, un-reprinted issues, and find out what's happening.

I'd kill to do that for Strangers in Paradise, but nobody has all the issues I need, so I'm stuck waiting for Pocket Book 5, whenever that comes out....

Yeah, I guess I'm gonna try and hold out for the next TPB...I'm thinking I might start buying the other ones so I can read them over and over and make up my own theories. :-)

I was originally going to ask you what size you want and order both, but does anyone else want one too? We can always discuss it at the shin-dig Friday. =)

depends - are these "gamer" sizes? hehe. Prolly a medium I guess. Not a girls too though, just a regular medium! We should discuss this over Firefly though...might convert a few more people hehe.
