trying to think outside the box

I scanned a few of the Sandman and Batgirl comics that I had out, just for a few images. Just finished playing around with some lj header designs. Whatcha think?







the delirium quote is actually something she says in one of the Sandman comics (though I cheated and just googled for good ones hehe) jimithingy said she freaks him out and I'm not allowed to use her to decorate my personal lj or he'll never read it again! haha. boys are funny.

I couldn't think of any decent text for batgirl...and now it looks really dark on my screen! Ugh. But you get the idea. Girl power and all that good stuff. (the scans are from 'Batgirl: Year One' which I just finished and actually really enjoyed!)

now i just need to dig out that tutorial for how to put a banner on a free lj layout so I can hook up dstntp1lgr1m with the dream one I have in the works...

thanks! as always it was pure luck, I just got bored and pasted two images of her then started playing with the blending options and voila! hehe.

I have a about 7 scans of Dream but sadly the issues I checked out didn't have very many good pictures of death. :( I'm going to keep looking though. I have one pic of dream that would just make an awesome background if I knew absolutely anything about coding haha. I'm gonna play with him though, see what I can do....

yay! I'm so happy she's going to get some use! She's definately my favorite of the endless...at least, visually haha. Her and Death, with Dream in 3rd (he can be so broody at times).

yeah, I need better scans of death...the books I checked out only had one pic of her that I liked. Need to just start ordering the comics again hehe.

I love the delerium one..... AND WHAT'S SO CREEPY ABOUT HER!!! She's one of the best and most fun characters. ugh.... boys.

I'll put the scans in a zip file when I get home and send them to you. :) It's not a whole lot, I only had two books checked out and they didn't have exactly what I was looking for.

AD's never read any of the sandman books so he doesn't know about delerium :) He's probably like her more if he had read them. (I was just thinking, she's sorta like River on 'Firefly'...especially in the earlier episodes. Lots of crazy ramblings that make more sense then you want to admite...hm....)

River might actually be the closest you could to compare.... being as they are both very high maintenance. Only Delerium has no super-human strength lol.
