okay, so this sucks. Apparently everything I've read about them making 'The Last Unicorn' into a live movie has been a lie. And poor Peter S Beagle is, in fact, POOR! Ugh.

the good news is that he's working on a full length sequel to 'Last Unicorn' in book form. Now if I can just get my hands on 'Two Hearts', the little novellette that he's published...

EDIT: Just found out that if you're an AACPL patron, you can get the story thru EBSCO online. SWEET! now I just have to print out 38 pages and read it!

yeah, he's one of those authors that I feel like I should just buy all of his stuff because I've hardly ever read a bad review of his stuff. Plus, tLU is just fantastic, both as a book and cartoon. Though I'm still bitter about the fact that the US DVD looks like poo, while the German DVD is widescreen and crystal clear! WTF!
