Okay, not really, it's 12:01am on December 25th. But still! Yay! Only a few more hours until presents! Giving and getting!

I gotta say happy non-denominational holiday season to all of my friends on here! And if you celebrate this one - MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope that you have a fantabulous day tomorrow, whether you're hanging out with family, turning men into chicken nuggets, having a Buffy marathon, or just turning your new gamecube on and off.

Because I'm pretty sure most of you made the nice list this year (and when you were naughty, it was in a good way, I'm sure, so no troubles there).

Thursday night, we saw [livejournal.com profile] zaubervz play with the Meade High band. Pretty good stuff. I really liked the theme from 'The Incredibles'. Jazz band was good too. I really have a soft spot for 'Sing sing sing'. After that, we went over to [livejournal.com profile] simontrueheart and Perri's house for a viewing of 'Serenity' and we got a loverly gift - a gift certificate to a sushi restaurant and a magnet to said sushi restaurant. There was a bit of confusion, for in the unwrapping process I missed the certificate and just found the magnet and I was confuzzled. But what can you say? Where's the real gift? Then, after I was laughed at, I unfolded the paper a bit more and found the certificate! hahah. Oh man, we'll be giggling about that for awhile now. We gave [livejournal.com profile] simontrueheart season 1 of 'Arrested Development' on DVD, which they seem to be enjoying. I gave Perri a copy of 'Finding Serenity', the pop-smart book of essay on 'Firefly', which is good reading. I'm hoping she'll enjoy it then we can discuss all the deeper meanings of the show. hehe.

Then, [livejournal.com profile] blu_harvest was sweet enough to drop off some other gift cards - one to Muvico and one to the italian cafe next to it - so we can get dinner and a movie for free sometime! yay!

Friday, we had dinner with [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy's grandmother, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, and cousin last night. Then we went back for presents. I snagged a bracelet made by his aunt, the Vicar of Dibley DVD set and the video game Psychonauts. [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy got the complete Calvin and Hobbes set - 3 books of silliness that way a TON! And we got a nice handpainted bowl for Halloween done by his aunt and a random Santa cookie jar! SCORE!

So far so good, lots of fantastic presents from my buddies. And tomorrow morning, even more goodies *bounces*

So, have yourself a Merry little Christmas!

*hugs*

I don't think we've ever been to Remomo's so it will be an adventure! How can you go wrong with Italian food? :)
