I like 'em big

faeriesfolly and I both went for BIG banners for 2006 - hers on her livejournal, mine on my website. What do you think of mine? Is it too much? Should I tone it down? My original plan was to make something like spitefairy's (she who I rip off whenever possible) website but as usual, I couldn't commit to one fandom. So I made the new banner for the main page, and I'm gonna go thru and make little banners for each page with the corresponding picture of the fandom. Whatcha think?

OH - and to my Veronica Mars fans - I want pictures of Kristen Bell out of character but, as usual, I'm afraid to go looking for them for fear of stumbling across VM spoilers. So if anyone could post me some links, that would make me (and jimithingy since he requested the icon) very happy. :)

...and whitemartyr posted this really cool meme! I was super thrilled by which icons it picked! All of them are made by me, except for one, which was made by spitefairy specifically for me! how cool is that?

Oh I GOT my WoW patch (or as we call it in our apartment - "teh WoWzors".) All worked pretty smooth for us. simontrueheart was pissed as his colorblind patch no longer worked. But I was donating silk bandages like a FOOL. Now I have to start fishing though. jimithingy found a school of fish and some debris and got his fish on, caught lots of cool stuff.

Inara hit 46 last night after we did the Uldamaan dungeon! She is so awesome. AD showed me how to turn off the headgear view, so she's wearing her tron helmet but she doesn't look all Special Ed now. :)

And I also found out last night that I can only use my philospher's stone to transmute once a day...that was sort of a downer. I was ready to go!

ya, transmutes are beautiful

iron -> gold and mithril-> truesilver aren't too useful, but arcanite is an important allowance maker (2 day cooldown tho)

once u get essence transmutes, those are very profittable

Those are BIG indeed! Yay for me being a trend setter, oh yes, yay me, or something ;) I think the banner looks cool, and it would be even cooler if it was an image map that you could click on the pictures to take you to the icons related to them. But goddamned if that isn't time consuming to do, unless you have dreamweaver, where it is still time consuming, but not as much.

Kristen Bell online has lots of images of her out of character. The layout sucks though and hurts my eyes with it's yellow text. Just go to gallery, and the first set says "Kristen Bell" then lists things like photoshoots, candids and stuff. Just don't click any of the caps from late season 1 and all of season 2, which I'm sure is obvious.

seriously, my coding skillz are between zero and zero point one. That would be cool though. How hard to use is dreamweaver? I use Frontpage because that's what jimithingy put on my computer, but I know Dreamweaver is the one they use at the college to teach people to make websites.

I knew you would come thru with Kristen Bell info. She's such a cutie! I shall be browsing for pictures later tonight...when I'm not at work, because they probably wouldn't appreciate me looking at teh hotness that is Kristen on the desk. hehe.

we should probably put up another challenge over at sw_challenge sometime soon, now that the holidays are over...but I suck and have no ideas.
