[livejournal.com profile] spitefairy posted this and I actually laughed so hard I started to tear up for a minute. this is a song for all you gamers with significant others out there.

Just got my entry in to [livejournal.com profile] whedon_lims, that was a tough one.

We stopped into Target yesterday and grabbed some of the new mini-Unleashed that are out. They are actually pretty cool. Perfect size for decorating a desk! I bought [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy Yoda's elite troopers, and I grabbed the Yoda/Aaylla/Tarfull/Chewie set. Also grabbed one of the Luke/Speederbike repacks out because the bike and Luke looked cool hehe. And some Star Wars Valentines. I have to complain though - Padme got the shaft. Not a single Valentine with Natalie on it. wtf? My guess is because she was preggers in the movie. Because the AotC Valentines had pictures of her in her white outfit. Anyway - I took the Yoda and Obi-Wan ones with me to work and stuck them up on my corkboard, along with an old Hermione one from last year.

uuuh...I think I had something else to say but suddenly I'm too tired to remember! I put all my energy into making that icon. I can't believe tomorrow is February 1st! Slow down there 2006!

Updated my Reader2 to include a few of the things I've finished up recently, including 'Rats Saw God', a book written by Rob "Veronica Mars" Thomas (not to be confused with Rob "Matchbox20" Thomas). I'm usually pretty wary of Young Adult (YA) novels. I'm not big on angst. But this one really sucked me in, he has a very honest voice when it comes to creating characters that you can believe exist. Plus, you have to love a book about a kid who starts a dadaist club in his high school.

I'm about halfway thru 'Reading Angel' and I have to say, I really like it. Of course, there are not as many books on 'Angel' as BtVS so I feel like I'm reading more new content rather than the same ol' stuff. The current essay I'm on compares Angel to Superman and Batman. Now, some of it might be a stretch, but I still really enjoy reading it. The author is talking about Tim Burton's 'Batman' and how he was the first to really go for the darker side of Batman on film and even make allusions to him being a vampire! Now I need to watch that again!

I checked out the new Beatles biography too. Which made me want to watch 'Hard Day's Night' and the Anthology again. Must set aside time to do that after I watch all of the Muppet Shows and Fraggles! There's no TIME MAN!

speaking of, I need to get to bed!
