for those of you that are not friends of jimithingy, I must spread his joy (and mine) -- we're going to get a Nintendo DS! Why? Because they are releasing not just a new Zelda, but a new Mario on it as well!! Oh yes, we shall have one of these babies in our christmas stockings. *dances*

In other news, Silent Hill comes out tomorrow and I think we're going to go see it with dstntp1lgr1m after I get outta work. It looks freaky, and it hasn't been previewed for reviewers so it could be horrid, but I don't care. It's like with the Resident Evil movies - it was more about the fun of it all.

I've decided tha I have issues playing Civ IV. I get far too attatched to my people. I was so pissed off last night when Catherine the Great decided to attack me for no reason. I was doing fine, living the life, and she just decided to destory me! We were a peace loving people, we had few weapons! We had lots of spices and gold and stone though...she wanted that stuff. But I was furious that she attacked me without warning!!! I feel like this all probably says something about my personality - and not that I have issues seeing what is real and what is fantasy....that's obvious...I'm not a confrontational person, I avoid it at all costs, so when the game decides to pick a fight with me and I lose at all I get very irritated and angry. And when they take my cities away, I get furious and pretty much do not want to play anymore. I need ot play on easiest mode and have the other people on Pangea be Ghandi and someone else who just chills and hangs out being cool.

I don't know what it is about Civ, but it makes me drop more F'bombs in an evening than I do any other time of the day. I mean, WTF!Montezuma! I'm just chillin here with my peoples, working on a new religion and you plow in with your cheetah warriors and destroy me?

I finally got a spy yesterday but she got caught. that was embarassing. She didn't do much when she wasn't caught though, messed up some stuff but I was hoping to spread propaganda like in Civ III - couldn't you spread propaganda and have the town join you? That's how I like to win my victories - thru espionage! That way, less people die.

Eeeeeeeeeee! Silent Hill looks so creepy! Let me know how it is...but I saw the trailer and I was like 'freaky faceless oooey ghosty people? AHHHHH!' Not for me. But I hope you have fun. :)

oh it better be creepy! the game freaked me out, I've only played 2 & 3 though, and the movie is based on the first one. But I want it to be as freaky and engrossing as the game (emphasis on "gross"). haha. I'm scared of the evil nurses though, the hospital is the worst level in the game.
