where in the world is ....?
May. 2nd, 2006 06:00 pmSo, I've decided that I'm going to start keeping track of where my graphic novels come from, especially the ones I get thru ILL from out of state.
Today my copy of 'Red/Tokyo Storm Warning' by Warren Ellis arrived. It came all the way from St. Joseph County in South Bend, Indiana.
Before that was 'The Walking Dead' which was shipped in from Ohio
And the classic - 'Preacher' sent all the way from Texas (at least the first edition).
Perhaps this is what I will use my Blogger account for....
EDIT: I had another brainstorm - every time I get a book from outside the state, I'm going to look up the library system, see if they have a website, then snoop around. Obviously if their collection includes the comics I want to read, they have something to offer :)
