Buffyverse Trivia Contest in D.C.!

I really want to go. I doubt I'd win, but I'd have a lot of fun. :) As long as it's all TV show related, I'd be fine.

EDIT: well, I just emailed in my participation form. It's a Saturday I work, so I'll have to run down there after that, but it will be worth it. dstntp1lgr1m says he'll come along with me and give it a try. Maybe I should study up...whats the most random buffy question you can think of and I'll see if I know the answer...

Also in Joss-related news - Diamond Select Toys has announced some new 'Serenity' merch, the "River Triumphant" statue. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to pass, the base of dead reavers is really a turn off. I wonder if that's detachable...

That River is nice, but not for me, either. The price tag doesn't help. I've been spending a lot on action figures lately and there's not enough discretionary cash to cover that.

yeah, I caved this past weekend bought all the buffy figures I'd posted about earlier. And while this River figure is nice, it's not that great of a likeness. I'd rather have her as a regular action figure to pose to my liking rather then stuck like that...with a pile 'o Reavers stuck to her legs. Just ew.

There are some comic book character and Stargate action figures coming out this month that I plan to buy. Action figures are so much more versatile, and great for photo ops. ;)
