Sony can kiss my Wii!

jimithingy posted this little bit of insight and I have to agree. I just wish someone could have contacted Bill Gates before the pre-orders started.

Seriously, I think Sony is being ridiculous. I used to be pretty indifferent towards them, but now I'm genuinely hoping that this knocks them to the ground. I'm not looking forward to a gaming world ruled by Xbox and all that it implies, but I'm not going to drop $600 for a machine that only looks good on an HDTV and has absolutely no games that interest me. jimithingy told me they were only giving store 8-16 PS3s. That's it. 8-16. And they're already all spoken for. My hope is that the parents who were willing to drop $600+ for the PS3 turn around while holiday shopping and see the Wii for a measley $250 (with a game!) and buy that to keep junior quiet until PS3s are available.

Nintendo Wii, you're my only hope! You're the only one with games that make me squee!
