Words cannot describe how much I hate MySpace. I just spent an INSANE amount of time trying to log in to the damn thing because zaubervz just made a new page and wanted me to approve his friends request. After attempting to log in, having it crash my browser, and then having to wait a minute for my internet to come back, I finally got to the requests page, only to find that I had 4 requests waiting and somehow NEVER recieved and email telling me so. FOUR! From September!

Then I tried to approve the requests - error error error. Ugh. Tried to read a message and reply to it - error error error. *headdesk* Tried to use IE instead of Firefox - same problems.

AAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Finally got the requests approved and wanted to see my friends page - yeah, not gonna happen.

I hate that site. I hope it dies in a fire.

yeah i've also had trouble with myspace being slow and not loading in the past and getting frustrated...but recently i haven't had any trouble. maybe the times when you use it, many other users are using the site as well which slows it down. maybe b/c of the time difference, when i'm on, less people are using it. but that's only based on if most myspace users are in the u.s. time zone area.

Yeah, I haven't had quite those problems with it, but it annoys me too. I mostly try to not give it a chance to, by avoiding it most of the time. =P It's sad though, because it does have a use or two... just not enough to make me want to use it on any kind of regular basis.

My guess your assumption is correct - most of MySpace users are probably in the states. I think I've been told not to bother using it at "after school" times or on weekends because it's just overloaded anyway.

How is the internet availability in Japan anyway? Does everyone seem to have it?

my internet here is DSL. first time having DSL. it works pretty well.
honestly, i'm not sure if most Japanese have internet or not. the availability, at least in my area, is pretty good though. but i heard from a couple other people on the program who live in rural areas and it seems it may be harder to get internet there.
