Ooooh, an episode about a con man who gets conned and has a flashback about the most obvious con ever! WOW! Go lost writers! EARN that Emmy!

Seriously, I knew they didn't put a pacemaker in Sawyer. I'm no surgeon but it seems like it would involve a bit of recovery after that kind of surgery, not just rip open your shirt, slice&dice, and digital watch! Though if a fertility doctor installed the thing...

Kate climbing out of her cell was cool, though I wish she would have just run for it. An island twice the size of Alcatraz, she could still find a place to hide. Come on Kate, become USEFUL again!

And does anyone buy this second island thing? Benry admitted to conning Sawyer, why stop with a bunny? Though this would explain why the Losties having a boat would be such a threat to them.

At least Jack is putting the pieces together. His little power play with Juliette was weak, but if she's dumb enough to fall for it, whateva. I wish he'd made a little whipping sound (ala the car salesman in Simpsons) when Benry burst into the room.

Exactly how long did they let the FERTILITY DOCTOR poke around on the gunshot Other before getting Jack? I mean, could she even have a clue what she was doing?

One reviewer commented that they should start phasing out the flashbacks and I'm starting to agree. Unless you're going to give us some HUGE character revelation, then just let it go. Tonight's was just in the way of good plot.

And why should I believe that the woman Sawyer conned isn't conning him right back to get money? Blah. This will come back to bite him in the ass later.

I'm ready for the teams to regroup again, I already grow tired of the fact that we've got 3 stories and they only seem to be able to cover one at a time each week. Hm...what could we cut to allow more time for the other plot lines.....hm....

I like Desmond. More Desmond. He's the only character that still has redeeming qualities and a bit of mystery. And he can see the future!

Is anyone else reminded of 'The Village' with the Others? Their comments about how they don't kill people, and Sawyer's comment that only time anyone gets shot it's the Losties fault? what a twist!
