you say funny thing

Okay, a funny thing happened today.

Last night, I went to the concert, right? Which means I didn't get to see Lost.

I told all my co-workers I was going out, and one of them brought up the fact that I would miss Lost and I said not to worry, I would DVR it. As we're getting into our cars to go, I remind her by screaming "NO SPOILERS!"

So, I come in today, I go over to help at the circ desk and she walked up next to me and says, "so Barb and I agree that losing Eko was no big deal, I wasn't really a big fan of him anyway."

and I just look at her. And she's like "what do you think?" and I said "I don't know I haven't watched the show yet because we were out last night!"

and she gets this horrified look on her face, manages to ask me how my concert was and then disappears for the rest of the day. I swear, I think for the 4 hours we had left to work together, she avoided me, she was so embarassed.

But it was damn funny. I wasn't that upset really, I'm actively seeking out spoilers for Lost now, just to see if I should bother watching next week. Now, if it had been a Veronica Mars spoiler that would be something else.

This week was just filler, anyways.

It's so forgettable that when you posted this, I though, "Wait, Eko doesn't die, does he?"

I guess he does. I don't know. Lost is just not the kind of show you can watch weekly. It was better on DVD.

yeah, I have guilt now because I got a co-worker hooked by lending her season 1 on dvd (which was awesome) and then she bought season 2 to catch up (which I was bored to tears by) and now she's watching season 3 in real time. And I'm curious to see if having to wait a week (or more!) between episodes will make her as annoyed and bitter as me...

...when in doubt, turn your tv show into an experiment!

I read somewhere that Nathan Fillion was going to be on LOST next week... so if the episode sucks, at least we get to watch Captain Tightpants run around for a while. ;D

oh yes, believe me, I've been waiting for this episode! I hope he has some Mal-like moments. :)
