orangerfulOkay, so I might find out in a week or so that I can possibly graduate next semester. But the question is, do I really want to?
I think I do. But I keep getting such weird reactions from people. All you ever hear is about how great college life is and that you should stay as long as you can and dear god why would you ever want to leave it.....blah blah blah. But I'm not one for the college life I guess. I am really not sure. I use college as an excuse to not do so many things. I haven't moved out of my parents house. I haven't thought of a career. And as long as I have UMBC as this crutch and this anchor, I will probably just not bother with either of those. Even though I do not think I am nearly as happy as a I could be. I mean,I've been working at the library way too long. I really need my own space. I should learn how to cook food at some point. But I'm not going to unless I'm tossed out into the real world. Because I will always be able to say "well I have class tomorrow so I can't do that" or "I can't look for a job cuz I have to have the hours I get from the library to work with my classes"
It's a bit nutty.
On an up note, I'm *this* close to picking out and MD player so I can get better copies of my shows. Yay.
And there's a page meeting at the library tomorrow which means I will hardly have to work! yes!!!!
