evil evil puzzle of doom

orangerfulomfg, this Lost puzzle is insanely hard. I have #2, "The Others", which I got for christmas. I've been working on it for 3 days now. 2 days I avoided temptation and worked on it without knowing what the completed project would look like. You see, to avoid giving away any "secrets", they didn't put a picture of what the finished puzzle looked like on or in the box. So I have 1000 pieces and only a bit of an idea what I should be looking for.
Now I'm googling like a mad-woman trying to find pictures. It's helped a little. I've managed to get a few chunks where they need to be but geez louise. I want to just pack it back into the box but I feel like I should finish it and be done with it forever. From what I've heard, it has absolutely no new information, though apparently the back glows in the dark with part of the image that was on the inside of the hatch (collect all 4 to complete the image! I don't think so.)
I will finish this damn puzzle. We need our table back!!!
