Okay, this may be the best bit of '300' merchandise out there. At least, it's the only one I would buy. Imagine slamming that down on the desk when it was time for your break? heehee.

Anyway, I went to cooltoyreview.com because I was looking for pictures of the new BSG figures. It says they are still pending license approval, and really the only figure I would want would be Starbuck (and she's not there) but i have to say the likeness on the Chief is fantastic! Apollo looks pretty close too. Six...not so much.

But what I really want are the minimates sets. Look how cute! (again, I really just want Starbuck)

Also, the Veronica Mars and Logan busts look horrible. I think I'll pass. Why couldn't they just make a cool action figure?

Yeah, the sculpts on those just look...well they look sloppy, like they rushed them to make money and not actually have a nice collectible. (and who took Logan's sleeves??)

I want to dress up like Starbuck for halloween next year. I mean, how hard is it to find a grey shirt and that weird tank top thing? Then I'll find a cigar, cut the corners off some paper and carry that around with me - voila! Instant Starbuck!

Yeah, the VM busts are pretty weak.

I have a Yoda lunchbox that I swore I would use...and right now it's being used to hold other star wars toys. Not quite what I had in mind. Though if I see this '300' one in a store, I might have to snag it.

I used to carry a lunchbox with me all the time - first it was my big metal Fraggle Rock one (my mom turned that into her glue gun container for some reason) and then I got a Who Framed Roger Rabbit one (which became model paints container after it finished it's lunch room tour of duty).

random BSG question - have they ever actually called her "Six"? I only know that's her "name" because of all the icons and comments...unless the answer to all this happens in s2. In which case, don't spoil me! ;)
