athf - Aqua Teen Hunger Force. A shake, fries and hamburger that can fight crime (but usually just hang out at their place in New Jersey and harass their neighbor Carl). It's on [adult swim] on cartoon network and is meant to be watched at 1am when you're half awake and any random silliness will make you giggle.

hhgttg - hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy - my favorite book of all time. I have the books, the radio scripts, the radio shows, and the original miniseries on DVD. I love the dry british humor and the way Adams' makes fun of the sci-fi genre, but at the same time, creates a story that's more than just a parody.

Y The Last Man - one of my two favorite comic book series of all time (the other is Transmetropolitan by

warren_ellis). Written by Brian K Vaughan (Runaways, Ex Machina) it tells the story of Yorick Brown, the only human male to survive a random "plague" that struck and wiped out everything with a Y chromosome. Oh, and his pet monkey survived too. So now it's Yorick, and a world full of women - and it's not all bunnies and flowers. There are just as many crazy scary women out there as there were men, with political agendas that they want to keep going, and having the Last Man for their very own is high on the list. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking up book one in the series.

When I was a little kid, I had the supergirl outfit, and I used to run around the house in my cape, zooming all over. My mom called me "Super Sam" - and it really works what with the big "S" on my chest. So while this image was originally intended to represent Super Girl - it's clearly me since she's got blonde hair and is wearing the Super-outfit and she's such a hottie ;-)

One of my earliest icons, back when I had the patience for mini-movies. This is from 'Josie and the Pussycats', a movie that's much smarter than it would appear. The image itself is when Melody (Tara Reid) is in the recording studio for the first time and is checking it out. I use it when I'm feeling a bit ditzy.
