well, faeriesfolly and heiland_coo will be very proud of me - I finally sat down and watch Bridget Jones's Diary. (thank you heiland_coo for lending me the dvd!).

Before I go any further though, I must say...

OMGWTFGAiUS!!!!!!

Seriously, I had this weird BSG fangirl attack when I saw James Callis sitting with Bridget. (And a very small HP fangirl twitch when I realized her other friend was Moaning Myrtle)

But, yes, like we discussed earlier, Bridget is definitely a fun movie. Not great art or anything, but just a classic romantic comedy. I knew what I was going to get, sat down and got it and left happy! I mean, how could I be disappointed by Colin Firth and Hugh Grant? Even if Hugh was playing a bit of a scum bag and poor Colin hardly ever gets to smile.

I'll probably watch 'Edge of Reason' later this week. Next time jimithingy has a raid on WoW.

And now my internal monologue has a British accent! AIEEE!

I did make SOME, but most of my three posts of BJD were Bridget and Colin. Myrtle does make a few appearances. Shazzer one or two... I will look through the screencaps again and maybe make a post just devoted to the 'urban family' from both movies. :D

Don't bother with The Edge of Reason. Read the book. Love the book. Don't watch the movie.

The movie is a series of flimsy excuses for Bridget to get into easily avoidable embarrassments. It hurt my brain and made me question whether I really enjoyed the first film.

Want to watch the first film. Watched Pride and Prejudice for six hours and need to watch the real thing.

*laughs* No, actually. Although he was adorably silly as Tom, I would never ever make such a vid. I didn't even like the movie that much, to be honest.

It probably says a lot about me that my first reaction after finally seeing James as that character, was to have a small, hopefully-toned voice inside my head go "So, he wouldn't have a problem with playing gay, then", doesn't it?
