when my family gets together...
Jul. 6th, 2007 01:29 pmI just had to share this because it is classic family interaction.
My mom sent my brother downstairs to get the ice cream she had made with her ice cream maker. He comes walking up the stairs with this metal cylinder and I hear him mumbling:
"Dodgson! We got Dodgson here!"
I respond with the appropriate "See, nobody cares."
And he laughs and says "Yeah, it was really cold so it made me think of embryos."
Now, does anyone else out there understand what that whole conversation was about?

Date: 2007-07-06 05:42 pm (UTC)And Jurassic Park was 13 years ago. There are teenagers who were not alive when Jurassic Park was in theatres. There are children who pick up walkmans and ask if they play mini-DVD's, or something.
There are people who haven't seen Speed!
It makes me wonder how many people actually don't recognize the line, "Dodgson! We got Dodgson here!"
What does it all mean, though?
