X Files movie for Summer 2008?

Sounds like it might actually happen. (But does anyone still care?)

Also, it seems that Duchovny has gotten through is "I am not Spock" phase, as he says at the bottom of the article that he loves playing Mulder...

I was a big fan of the X-Files; even with the ongoing "who took Samantha" saga. I'd almost believe David Duchovny's love of his character BUT I remember some of the articles I read about his prima donna phase when it was at its peak.

I have to be fair. I never met the man and tabloids are, well, tabloids. (I like the Spock reference).

Oh, I was hardcore into X-Files back in the day. Duchovny was my first big TV crush, I knew his full name, birthday -- even had a card that said "Member of the David Duchovny Estrogen Brigade". But the show really broke my heart when it came to continuity and knowing when it was time to END! (Remember how the first movie was supposed to be the finale, but then they flashed big boxes of cash in front of Chris Carter and he renewed? Hm...kinda sounds a bit like LOST too...) (though if XF hadn't gone so wrong, I doubt I would have given buffy a try...)

It might be fun to see the movie if they truly make it a standalone adventure. I'd like to see DD and GA together again. :)

Wha..? Ok, this was a piece of news I was not expecting to see.. like, ever. Well, if it comes out, of course I'll go see it, I won't deny it.

It had better be really good though, if they want to bring people in. I think most people have forgotten about the show, except for the die hard fans, many of whom are bitter.

And yeah Duchovny, Mulder's looking pretty good right now isn't he? Too bad not much has worked out for you since you left that role you were too good for. I won't even mention Gillian's recent Emmy nomination, except I just did.
