PB review of HP7
Jul. 25th, 2007 06:21 pmOne of the more honest HP7 reviews I've read here at Publishers Weekly. No spoilers.
*sigh* I swear I liked the book well enough, but every time I try to discuss it, it all devolves into a wankfest! And I wasn't that hardcore of a fan even!

Date: 2007-07-26 02:57 am (UTC)Think, just think, how bad it could have been! Do I need to bring up Chris Carter? George Lucas? Lost? At least when she said she had it planned out from the beginning, she wasn't talking out of her arse! (ew, that's sort of a weird image..)
um, this is all assuming "wankfest" means people have criticisms? Just realized I don't know for sure what that means..

Date: 2007-07-26 04:55 am (UTC)It's not that I didn't like the book, I just felt it could have been a bit better. I know it could have been a lot worse! I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. It did it's job, but I really think she could have cleaned it up a bit more.
We shall definitely discuss in a couple weeks. Probably drive AD insane but I don't care! haha.
