Oh wow! That sounds fabulous! I love Giles and Anthony Stewart Head. (Though I have to admit it was really weird watching him in the episode of Doctor Who where he plays an evil headmaster, that reminded me very much of Principal Snyder.) I had not heard anything about this, probably because I am seriously out-of-touch with the world in general. Do you know if there is any more information, like will it be shown on BBC? (This is important to me, since I live in England and hence get BBC, though I imagine you are less interested...) Btw, I hope you don't mind me reading and commenting on your journal, because I enjoy it very much.

Even weirder is that clip of him dressed up as Dr Frankenfurter singing songs from 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lilv4d9Z7o8)

This was just a newsflash from Comic Con last weekend so there's not a whole lot more to go on, just that Joss, the BBC, and ASH have all agreed to it. I'm guessing BBC will get first dibs on the air-date since it sounds like they will be paying for it.

And of course I don't mind! That's what I love about livejournal, meeting random people with similar interests! Feel free to friend me, I'll friend you back! :)

Yes, that clip was even weirder! I suppose liking it makes me weird too.

I'll have to keep an eye on the BBC's entertainment news page. Hopefully they will make an announcement about this project there. (Looking forward to it already!)

Feel free to friend me, I'll friend you back! :)
Done! and I agree that meeting random people with similar interests is one of the great things about livejournal. It is just that I am rather shy (especially 'in person') and I don't want to come off stalkerish...

haha, no worries. I totally understand. That's why I usually announce when I'm going to friend someone so I'm not just watching...quietly...waiting...

Good plan, except I'm not sure how people will react to a total stranger asking to friend them... (The shyness strikes again! It is like a big, bad monster that can't be banished. *grin* Besides, I have never quite worked out how you "make friends" even in the so-called real life, and I feel I know even less about the etiquette on-line.)

yeah, the whole thing is really odd if you start to think about it too much. :) I only had people I knew in everyday on my friends list until I started making icons and sharing them in communities. Then other people would wander over here and see the rest of my ramblings. Come for the icons, stay for the crazy haha. And now I have 59 friends! (thank goodness not all of post every day or I'd be reading my flist until it was dark outside!)

As far as I know, none of my "real life" friends are on livejournal. I stumbled onto it through reading on-line fanfic and in the beginning I just checked community pages without having an lj of my own. I eventually signed up and joined the communities I was interested in so as to be able to read them in one easy place. Then my natural curiousity took over and I would check out the journals of people posting in the communities and people posting comments and then people posting comments on those journals until I wasn't quite sure how I got to a specific journal. At some point something somebody had posted prompted me to get up the courage to comment and thankfully they didn't feel stalked but responded and after a few comments back and forth even asked about friending me. My life on lj has grown slowly from there.

And now I have 59 friends! (thank goodness not all of post every day or I'd be reading my flist until it was dark outside!)
Well, I don't post very often, so I am 'helpful' in that regard. *grin* Generally, I post a lot more comments to other people's entries than entries of my own.

Oh, yes, that's how it starts. You make a journal just for fun, just to investigate and next you're reading your flist for an hour after work, seeing whats new with your friends and the fandoms. ;) Or maybe that's just me!

well, I'm always happy to make new friends, IRL or online!
