So, no one had told me about the pictures of Heath Ledger as "The Joker" that had been officially released. He looks icky! But...I think I like it. 'Batman Begins' rebooted the series, and I think this take on the Joker will make him that much less of a cartoon (ala Jack Nicholson's version) and more of a really creepy, insane, and SCARY villain. Seriously, I'm already a bit freaked out by that picture...

Oh, and there's a teaser teaser trailer up. Seriously, it's all audio! Still, intriguing. I mean, the film doesn't come out for a year, can't really expect too much!

Dangit Internetz! Why are you getting me all excited about movies that don't come out for another 12 months!!!! *shakes fist*

OOOOOH!! XD I love it! *bounces* Creepy Joker makes me all happy. haha. I like that his 'smile' is cut in and sewed up. Niiiice. Very fitting with the whole new take of Batman Begins.

yes, I'm excited too! Something so superbly icky about it. You get the feeling that when he does grin, it's going to hurt. Not him, because he's insane, but the audience will be like "eeeeeew!" because those sewn up bits do not look sanitary.

Ugh, I need some movies to be excited about between now and May 2008!!!

you goomba, I posted pics of Heath in pre-make-up sequences and some official make-up glances a couple months ago. Sheesh. I even pointed out that there's and ARG similar to NIN's Year Zero happening for the promotion of the new Batman movie. The Alternative Reality Game is even designed and made by the same company that worked with Trent on YEar Zero. Guh. lol

oh, I just went and looked haha! I suck! I think I saw the NIN stuff and didn't see the Batman mention! I've never heard it called an "Alternative Reality Game" before. I'm so easily confused! (I can't find the pre-makeup pics though...can you link me to that post?)
