[livejournal.com profile] impalalove tagged me so I must meme!!! Consider yourself warned!

10 Things That Make Me Entirely Grumpy (which usually translates into ranty)
1. People who try to have books banned. Especially people who try to ban books that are 20 years old!
2. People who say they are "doing it for the children".
3. Miss Teen North Caronlina. Thanks, not only have you made blondes look bad but you've pretty much set back women yet again. "heh heh, girls - they sure is pretty but they ain't too bright". And, yes, I KNOW you said on Good Morning whatever that you would have said something much smarter, but we all know that was after you talked to your coach.
4. Speaking of Good Morning America - do not mention 'Twilight' and 'Harry Potter' in the same breath again or I will personally send all of the disappointed 13 year old boys to you that receive 'Twilight' as a present from mom because she heard it was like Harry Potter on the TV. Ugh. One is a book about wizards with magic and suspense, the other makes me throw up a little is a romance.
5. People who say "the librarian is yelling at me" when I ask them to please take their cell phones into the lobby. Note: most of these people are supposedly "mature" adults. Alot of the teens seem to understand.
6. FOX, CW, and WB - because the cancelled so many of my shows. I'm still bitter.
7. X Files. I can hold a grudge against that show like nobodies bizness
8. MySpace - I hope Facebook steals your friends, at least that doesn't crash my browser.
9. waking up early. I'm usually pretty grumpy in the head for the first hour I'm awake...until I get some food in me and start to wake up
10. politics and religion - because i don't really want to talk about them. Ever. With anyone. It never ends well unless we both have th exact same way of thinking.

10 Things That Make Me Entirely Happy
1. My friends - RL and f-list people. I come home every day and read my f-list!
2. My job - I love my job. I love the people I work with. There can be long days, but I hardly ever have a bad day
3. Alton Brown - he's on TV right now...doing a Jaws parody...with scallops. LOL!
4. Indiana Jones & Star Wars - yes, I know they are two things but it's hard to be unhappy while watching them.
5. Joss Whedon commentaries/episodes/blog posts - I'm such a fangirl
6. reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and chuckling
7. Driving in my car, with the top down, tunes blaring and singing along on a gorgeous day!
8. Toys! Especially finding that one you were searching for, or having the package arrive in the mail and getting to rip into it and see what the figure looks like in your hands.
9. traveling! I may stress about planning trips and adventures, but I love going on them!

I usually always have the cell phone turned off during school hours, and always in the library. ^_^

I'm sure the teachers and librarians appreciate it! You should see the dirty looks I get from adults. We had a guy today who went to hide by the window to talk...but he talked really loudly into the window so the sound bounced right over my head and I had to ask him to leave, then he did the slow walk and talk to the door. I want a little machine that I can use to turn them off and on.

Adults are sometimes so irresponsible. *growls* Kidding, of course. There are few that are nice and respectable, most of which are my flist, but yes.

I think they have a machine like that. I can't remember what it's called, though. I just vaguely think there's one. *muses*

I didn't actually watch it, I saw the transcript online and its not even close to anything resembling a sentence. That was painful enough, I don't think I can bring myself to watch the clip.

And it's so easy to be pretty when that is ALL YOU DO. They should have a Miss Livejournal award...then you could compete and they'd have brains and pretties! (and I bet you could find the US on a map...several maps, I bet you're one of the fortunate few in this country that have a map!) I already know your talent - exploding rabbit fur! ;-)

First of all... GIP! ^_^

And aww thanks. But I don't have time to be Miss Livejournal... I'll be too busy going state-to-state handing out world maps to the less fortunate American children. I'll be like Johnny Appleseed, but with maps--not only will I hand them out, but I will also plant them, so that future generations can enjoy the map trees that will grow to educate them.

Come children, come sit under the giant Map tree and I will tell you a tale of a almost naked princess, [livejournal.com profile] jellibean, and how she spread the smartness to the peoples that ain't got none.
