guess what guess what!
Sep. 18th, 2007 09:57 pmI'm posting this from my new MacBook which is hooked up to our new wireless network in the apartment!!!!
How sweet is that?
I set my alarm for 9am this morning so I wouldn't miss the FedEx guy. Good thing I did, he arrived about 5 minutes later!
Plus, at 10, the postman knocked on the door and had my Sims 2 Limited Edition, which
jimithingy is installing for me right now.
And, obviously, the wireless router arrived today too! It's just a day of total geeking out!
I'm still figuring out the whole Mac thing. The one button freaks me out a bit. I can't quite get the "Sticky Notes" application to work and I don't have a clue how to actually enter information into the calendar...I am SUCH a n00b! But it is still damn cool.

Date: 2007-09-19 03:26 am (UTC)i highly recommend using a side mouse with 2 buttons, it makes transitioning between mac/pc all the bit easier.
if you're using the laptop on the same desk with your PC, there's a program called Synergy, it allows you to span one mouse/keyboard over a network connection. it can be handy, i can help ya set it up if you want to try it.
if you feel totally noobish, run by an apple store during some off-hours, one of those folks there should be happy to give you a little quick tour.
