OMG I so need this break. I'm going to go start packing.
2 out of 3 professors have responded to my pleas of early access to assignments, so I have a lot of reading to take with me on the trip. But that is fine. Something to do during the layover in NYC haha. One is a 54 page PowerPoint presentation on Grant Writing (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) and the rest are about databases! So, I won't have trouble sleeping on the flight!
And get this, one of the first discussion questions was about creating culture in an online environment. Yeah, talk about everyone showing their age haha. I'm like "yes, I'm on livejournal and facebook and blah blah blah" and there describing the dynamics of it all and other people are like "ew! internetz! this is my first time." I mean, if I had no online experience, I don't think I would be brave enough to take an all online class! But, just because I am comfortable with the stuff, at least one person called me a guru LOL! BUT it is just something to remember for all you youngins out there -- Livejournal will make you look cool when you tell people with zero internet experience all the things you can do with it.
Oh, and I shall squee over 'The Office' later. Because, yeah. SQUEE!!!!!!!
