yet another videogame for my wishlist

So, why did no one TELL ME that Tim Schafer was making a new video game? The genius that made 'Monkey Island', "Day of the Tentacle', 'Grim Fandango' and all those other classic Lucasarts games that I'm so angry they won't release on Next-Gen consoles for me to play...oh yes, and Psychonauts! Well, he's made a new game - a game that ROCKS! Literally.

Brutal Legend

Jack Black is voicing the main character! You can play face-melting solos that actually MELT the monsters FACES! Open ended playground! And a great soundtrack!

But it won't be out until 2008! I want it now! Ah well, I can at least watch the silly trailer. Think 'Army of Darkness' but with Heavy Metal sillyness instead of Bruce Campbell-sillyness.

If you've never played a Tim Schafer game, you are missing out. He's got a very quirky sense of humor and a style all his own. I'm so excited to see that he is getting to make new games! I was worried because, even though Psychonauts met with a lot of critical praise, it didn't sell very well. :\ I own it. Of course!

Oh it will be fun! I love all the games Tim Schaefer touches! And this one will literally ROCK! Waiting until 2008 will be the hardest part!

Hey! I found this out through another user, but there's something you may be interested in. Apparently, there are figurines of Sam and Dean. Not sure if you're still pretty nuts over the show, but I thought you may or may not be interested in it. ^^
