we gather together...
Nov. 22nd, 2007 11:10 pmHope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Skimming through my flist, it looks like you were all off to a good start. :)
My brother came over last night to hang out so I was a bit distracted. He brought 'Mass Effect' OMG WANT! It's made by the same guys that did the original KOTOR. And it's very very pretty. You can't tell the cut scenes from the game itself. I only got to play for about 30 minutes but I already need that game. Onto the wishlist it goes!
Then we watched the first episode of 'Flight of the Conchords' since the DVD is out now and he had Netflix'd it. And the rest of the evening was filled with co-op mode on Halo 3. We went over to the 'rents today and had the traditional dinner and pie and talked each other's ears off. Good times. My parents have a Flavia machine so I watched it make Chai tea in about 30 seconds. Very odd contraption! But the tea was yummy, I will give them that.
Now I'm home, and stuffed, and very happy that I'm not working tomorrow.
Oh, and my mom gave me a Lego Advent Calendar! How sweet is that? Little Legos for twenty five days in December! (And yes, that link is correct, it's the 2006 edition. They were back-ordered last year and shipped late! But I don't care, it was a surprise to me!). She also picked up a chocolate advent calendar while she was in Germany. Candy and toys - already December is looking might awesome. :D

Date: 2007-11-26 02:41 pm (UTC)I'm glad you had an awesome one. Mine was quite wonderful. We managed to forego the family tradition of having a big fight during Thanksgiving. :) Oh well, there's always Christmas...
Mass Effect is truly sexy is it not?!
I've bought the strategy guide and I don't even own a 360, let alone the game. I'm insane.
