Heroes action figures.

Right now, I'm going to pass. I enjoy the show but I'm not in love with it. And the sculpts look okay but I'm not blown away by the likenessesl. (though if the line survives long enough to make an Elle figure that at all resembles KB, you know I'll buy one of those).

But I wanted to share - jellibean, don't you think the Sylar fig would make a cute gift for Joe? Or maybe he should buy one for you so you can have a mini-Joe to carry around hahaha. (oh goodness, lots of weird customization jokes just popped into my brain, I've been hanging out with toy collectors for too long!)

Okay, the Mohinder one is pretty okay, but I've got some serious issues with the rest of the set. Like, serious.

Oh well. I'm not in the market for any figures right now anyway.

The only one I think comes close to being a good sculpt is Suresh, so that's likely the only one I'll get, if the photos are accurate. Even with their notorious lateness record, I wish Diamond Select had gotten the license, instead. Their Stargate figures are amazing, not to mention most of the Buffy and Angel sets. Even their Battlestar Galactica figs are good.

Yeah, the verdict is still out on the BSG figures because I still do not have mine!!! They should be arriving very soon, according to T&ST. They said they got all the basic figures but were waiting to see if the "exclusives" came in so they could mail them all at once. I want my damn toys!

First: HRG/Slusho is my OTP. That icon will never cease to make me giggle with glee.

Sylar has a fat Neanderthal face and flat hair. He doesn't look like ZQ (or Joe) at all. :( Mohinder and Peter look okay though...

If he looks a little better when they come out, I'll probably get him. And why, when you mention customizing my mini-Joe figure, do I think of that naked Slave Leia custom you showed me...? :P

Yeah, I hope these are really really rough models because they look like crap. Ah well, probably safest that I am not tempted at all!

haha, because that Slave Leia is the ultimate sad fanboy case of customization.
