Reactions to BSG 4.02 - Six of one

• I'm so happy they ended the Screaming!Starbuck plotline in this episode. It was getting old. I think one more episode with that going on and some serious wank would have occurred. Thank you, Admiral!


• Speaking of, Katee Sackhoff was acting her pants off in this episode. Each time she crumpled her features and cried, I wanted to hug her and say "its okay!". Especially the scene between here and Adama right after she gets tossed in the brig and she's standing at attention the whole time.


• SMOOCHIES! Though I have this feeling that...well, they are not going to see each other again for a very long time since Starbuck is about to ship out on her Sewage Ship o' Love.


• Giaus^2 - OMG so FUNNY! AD and I had to rewatch that scene again because we were laughing SO hard the first time through. The look on his face when he first sees...himself. Priceless. Definitely going down in the book of "Best BSG moments". But what does it all mean? Who is Gaius2?


• WTF Boomer. Why are you so stupid? And how do the Cylons not see that they are doing the same thing as the humans? I had a feeling she would get the Centurions to join her. (btw jellibean, how did you come to learn that that particular Six has a name? Why would she have a name?)


• Lee in weird blue shirt - ew. Lee in pinstripe suit - YUM! Lee making a divorce joke while talking to his soon-to-be-ex wife...um, awkward?


• Roslin has the cancers and she is just so cranky. My prediction for her is that she will not survive to the end of the series. Sorry Roslin. You will die and it will break Bill Adama's heart.


• Speaking of Adama seems to always have zingers ready to go. He threw two of them back at Roslin during their little spat ("You can stay in my room, but get outta my head", "You're afraid to die that way [alone]"). Last week we saw Sam's heart get snapped in two, this week I think Laura got the broken heart award.


• Did I mention that I love Giaus? Not sure where that weirdness is going but I cannot wait to see!

Some scenes in this episode felt long, and others felt too short, as though a lot was left on the cutting room floor. My prediction: this will be an ep. with an "extended cut" on the s4 DVD.

I love that this show keeps me guessing. I have no IDEA where this is all headed and I'm so happy I don't. And it's not like LOST where I want to strangle someone because I'm just confused and frustrated, the writers on BSG are just good at keeping it all moving yet mysterious.

Good stuff, and I'm sure I've forgotten things but it is bedtime now so I must go. ta-ta!

They talked about the new Six, and Trisha called her Natalie, in the EW article that accompanied the Last Supper picture. Maybe it wasn't Trisha who called her Natalie... but someone did. lol.

OMG yes, Katee was awesome. Clearly, Adama is the only person who Starbuck feels close enough to to be brutally honest and emotional with, but when she saw that he was siding with Roslin, she got very cold and stand-offish.

SRSLY GUYZ, don't ever put that ballet shirt on Lee again. It looked like he had a unitard on and was getting ready to do some Blue Screen work. All it needed was a bunch of ping pong balls attached to it.

Roslin has the cancers and she is just so cranky.
