web 2.0 kinda day...
Apr. 14th, 2008 09:00 pmI had 3 Twitter followers add me today. One of them I am pretty sure is an advertisement (oh spammers, you are EVERYWHERE), the other appears to be a librarian (and friends with
snarkel?), and another...well, I am just not sure. He appears to be a blogger of some sort...
Of course, this makes me feel like I should be doing something more interesting with my Twitter (my gods, does that sound dirty!). Not sure what though.
And, if you read my latest twitter, you'll see that I'm trying to figure out what brilliant thing I should do with my Tumblr blog that I set up on a whim after
bittertwee and
lostacanthus both got one in the same week. I thought about making it an all Rock Band thing, but that turned into too much work. Perhaps I could do random qutoes from movies or books or tv shows...I'm sure that's been done already. Maybe I could do a "name that line" and not credit the quote...slowly drive readers insane, then post the answer the next day...would anyone bother reading that and be as amused as me? Other suggestions?
Or I could just stop creating additional blogs...hahahhaha...aaaah, that was funny. I can quit anytime I want to!

Date: 2008-04-17 01:49 am (UTC)I don't know if this is right for tumblr, but I was thinking the other day about how I missed being part of a mailing list, like I was in my x-file days. So a group thing would be cool, but then I guess that's possible on lots of other blogging platforms.
btw, should I bother responding to you on my blog, or should I save all the conversations for lj where I know you're going to see it?
I'm very curious to hear what you think about Juno. (you mentioned it on your Twitter)

Date: 2008-04-17 04:02 am (UTC)A mailing list like...just a bunch of random stuff like fanfic and filk and discussion? That sort of thing?
I'll probably end up checking your blog if I said something brilliant and want to see if you responded. ;-)
Juno was...yeah...just finished. Don't think I'll ever watch that again. Made me long for Daniel Day Lewis and his HUGE mustache.
