the kitties have landed

Starbuck and Apollo are officially home now. They have been playing for about an hour. We've got them in the bedroom with one of those child-safety gates keeping them from the rest of the apartment. Don't want to overwhelm them. Plus, we need to figure out a way to hide some of the wires so they don't chew on anything and get zapped.

They found the two Harry Potter wands my uncle made me that fell behind my dresser. And they are enjoying hiding under the bed and trying to grab the other one. They are both adorable.

As soon as they hold still, I'll try to get some pictures. Right now I just get a little dark blur or a little light blur when I try to snap a photo haha. They are very quick. I figure they will need a power nap eventually!

I will need to make a kitty icon for these posts...

They are 8 weeks old, so still kittens. Very playful. I finally got Starbuck to settle long enough for me to pet her. Apollo is a little more cautious, but it appears that once he gets going, he goes for awhile! I think Starbuck wants to nap and he keeps pouncing on her!

AD is building a cardboard fortress around the TV. We went to buy poster board but let me tell you, poster board ain't what it used to be! It was just really large construction paper! So we bought some boxes and AD is cutting them up now.

HOLY FRAKKING CRAP! I leave for two weeks and you get KITTIES?! I love kitties! Yours are adorable. ^_^
