Someone just posted pics of Emma Watson from the Italian Vogue September issue. She's a total babe in them. I mean, I always thought she was adorable as Hermione but she's hot in these pics. Good for her.

Uuuuh, not much else going on. The weather was nas-tay today which made me totally unmotivated at work. Returned a couple things at Kohls but some how ended up spending just as much with other items I found.

Did I tell you all AD got me watching Gilmore Girls? We're almost done with the first disc. I really like it but whoa, how does this show even exist? I mean, its just so different from anything I've ever watched. There's no vampires or fist-fights, space battles or even murder. It's just people talking...really fast. Yet I can't look away. I'm sucked in! Don't make no sense.

Speaking of, DirtySexyMoney doesn't come back until October! BLURGH! I want to have new episodes now. I'm worried though because the execs keep saying stuff like "it wasn't sexy enough last year" or something and I'm concerned they are gonna muck it all up trying to appeal to "the masses".

Also, I am giving up on reading City of Bones. I've been struggling with it for the past few weeks. At first it was moving along quite well but now I am just bored, and I'm only 100 pages in! It feels uneven to me somehow...like at times I feel like I'm reading a fantasy/horror book and then other times the language just flops. I dunno...maybe I'll read the Wiki entry and skip to book 2, I've heard that's better. Plus, Amy put Wake on my desk this week and its been tempting me and I started to read it at lunch today and it was moving along much faster.

We put the CD shelf on the floor so it woudn't fall over (since we haven't picked a permanent spot for it yet) and I'm pretty sure Starbuck thinks its her newest cat toy.

City of Ashes IS a whole lot better! City of Bones REALLY pics up in the last 1/3. Oooooo Wake, excellent read. It's so good that I read it in about an hour. Let me know what you think. I can't wait for Fade now.

I might give City of Bones another try when I don't have a giant pile of books next to my desk tempting me away. Wake is really good, though I'm a bit worried about how it will end since I know it is a series. I'll definitely post my thoughts once I am done!
