orangerfulAD broke down and got SPORE today. The only computer it works on is my MacBook Pro, so after having that a year it is finally getting some good use (beyond the whole DVD burner thing). The game is...interesting. I just got to play for an hour or so. AD walked me through the first stage. I named my planet Star Hollow and my first creature is Rory (guess what show I'm still watching). I'll have to ask AD how to upload the photos. I know there is a way to take pictures and share them.
Also got our copy of Rock Band 2 on Sunday. I pwnd 'Eye of the Tiger' and 'Hungry Like the Wolf' on Hard Vocals. Time to go back on Expert and get me some gold stars. Paid the $5 and got all our Rock Band songs transferred to our hard drive so we can play those whenever we want. And I bought the other Johnathan Coulton song - Skullcrusher Mountain. I like his voice. I need to just buy one of his CDs.
House appears to be my first TV show back on the air this fall. AD is not a fan though, so I will have to wait and watch the premiere later. No spoilers! I keep reading bits and pieces about Dollhouse and I'm really scared that it actually might not be any good! But not as concerned as I am about DirtySexyMoney which sounds like the studio requested by dumbed down so that "normal" folk could watch. Or something. I dunno, studios think we are all morons I guess.
Anyway, only Tuesday and this week has been busy! Of course, I was totally out of commission on Sunday due to large amounts of Rock Band + Rum + Coke on Saturday night. I won't be doing that again any time soon. Sunday is mostly a blur, though I did see Romeo & Juliet at the Shakespeare Theater in D.C. (more on that in another post, promise).
Now it is time for Gilmore Girls and bedtime!
