I want candy.
Apr. 12th, 2009 11:20 pmHope everyone had a nice Sunday, whether they were celebrating Easter or just relaxing from work.
Amy and I went for a walk outside this morning, did about 3 miles on the BWI trail. My calves are a bit sore but it felt good. Now to get my lazy butt outta bed tomorrow and ride my bike while watching BSG! Must get into some semblance of shape!
AD didn't feel very well, so I went over to my parents' house solo and had dinner with them. Talk about all our tv shows, esp. BSG's finale. My mom kept asking me "which Earth did they find?" and she had this whole theory about how they went back in time and the Earth they ended on was the same Earth they found or something...it was odd. haha. She brought time travel into it and I told her to get her Lost out of my BSG!
I got an Easter basket full of candy. Well, not really a basket, it's actually an old L.L. Bean canvas bag that my uncle gave to me when I was little. My mom told me to use it when I go to Giant instead of getting plastic bags. LOL! But it is currently full of candy! NOM NOM NOM! My favorite - the caramel Cadbury eggs. So good. I love chocolate and caramel. So OTP.
I have tomorrow off because I was supposed to have Friday off, but we were closed, so then I was gonna have off Thursday, but someone needed to switch for their vacation, so now I'm off tomorrow. So random. But whatever!
OH! I watched 3 more episodes of SPN!. I did the creepy one whenMeg from Veronica Mars Jo sneaks out to find the serial killer ghost. That was creepy! I'm happy I watched that while AD was home or I would have been scared outta my mind! This morning I watched the one with Linda Blair as the cop, which was also very well done. Doubt I will catch up to real-time airings any time soon, but I'm enjoying myself. :)
okay, reading a bit, then bed.

Date: 2009-04-13 03:52 am (UTC)Someone caught what was on Claire's browser when she goes to close it 'meetcute.biz'. People were discussing theories and one person posted their findings on what a 'meet cute/meet-cute' was:
"A meet-cute is a convention of screwball comedies and their heirs, the romantic comedies, the contrived encounter of two potential romantic partners in unusual or comic circumstances, a comic situation contrived by the filmmakers entirely in order to bring them together. During a "meet-cute", scriptwriters often create a humorous sense of awkwardness between the two potential partners by depicting an initial clash of personalities or beliefs, an embarrassing situation, or by introducing a comical misunderstanding or mistaken identity situation. Sometimes the term is used without a hyphen (a "meet cute"), or as a verb, as in "to meet-cute.""
Rather Boyd/Claire...y/n? Especially in the last few episodes with their differing opinions. Plus now he'll be around the Dollhouse more...and we know she's there 24/7...
I still need to post a real entry on it, but....my head hurts still so I am going to bed! lol

Date: 2009-04-15 10:53 pm (UTC)I know who you mean, the girl from Scooby Doo? haha Velma...Linda something...*imdbs* Cardellini. I just keep calling Jo "Meg" because the first time I saw her was in Veronica Mars and she was Meg. (It's very confusing trying to explain the show to AD because he's seen Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, but never watched SPN so I end up saying things like "Rory's Dean is talking to Meg about a ghost killer while Supe-Dean is investigating")

I couldn't get Ant to watch Gilmore Girls (he didn't like how fast they talked lol), but he loves SPN. I think he only likes it for the car lol!
