So the Supernatural episode I watched this week that freaked me out, about the ghost of a serial killer that took petite blonde girls? Sammie says it was "America's first serial killer" and I wondered if that was true, so I just Googled the name "H.H. Holmes" and now I feel silly - because I've read an entire book on the guy.

Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, one of the BEST non-fiction books I've read in a long time, is all about Holmes and the World's Fair. The book alternate chapters between the creating of the fair and Holmes setting up "shop" in the neighborhood. Very very creepy, but at the same time, you learn a lot of random stuff about World's Fairs.

yeah, thought I'd share that for any of you that need something to read. :D
