So, I went to get my hair cut today, like I said I was going to...and well...it just so happened that the Hair Cuttery was next to the AT&T store so I thought I would peek in and see how easy it was to get an iPhone 3G (the $99 one).

Turns out it was a bit too easy.

So, yeah, I have an iPhone now. :D

What apps do I need??? So far, I just have the official Facebook app, but I have no idea what to use for Twitter or for sharing photos...I think Flickr can do that now...

I'll have to play with it.

I use Tweetie and it lets me upload pics direct to ... I don't know what, but something, at any rate, that are stored on the iPhone. And I have the LJ app. And, you know, Koi Pond, of course. *stare*

Which LJ app do you use? I see a few different ones. I'm going to play around with Flickr tonight and figure out ho to do mobile uploads. This is gonna be so cool! My previous phone hardly did anything so there's so much to learn!

(I got it trimmed up a bit. I couldn't remember the last time I got it cut and it was falling in my face and I decided I wanted my bangs back, so I took in my standard pic of Katee Sackhoff - I think it's from s1 or s2, it's just above the shoulders and has some layers because my hair is so thin. I'll take a picture once I've styled it again, I was too lazy this morning!)

I just use the official one.. Albeit, not very much, since it's not super fun to type a huge amount, and if I'm just typing something short, I just Twitter it these days. But it was free, and it's nice to have anyways. :)

Oh! And Fuzzyshot is also fun.. it posts things directly from your iPhone to a fuzzyshot page, and also lets you browse a feed off all of your fuzzyshot friends. If you grab that, I'm at http://www.fuzzyshot.com/marshmallow .. :D

I'm still holding out. I think I want a Crackberry--I mean Blackberry--but I need to check all the possibilities and then find someone who wants to get rid of their not-the-latest-tech so I can get it cheap.

I pretended to shop around, I really did! But I think 90% of my Facebook/LJ/Twitter friends have iPhones so every time I asked what people used, it was iPhone! So I figured, why settle! Plus, as often as I upgrade me phone, I decided I deserved it haha.

I pondered blackberry, but there's something so Sci-Fi about the touch screen of an iPod that it appeals to the geekiness in me. As I said to my dad - it's like a real live Hitchhiker's Guide!

hm...wonder if anyone has made an app that makes your iPhone looked like the HHGTTG...
