Hey faeriesfolly, guess what came in the mail today! I'm so happy I only got the medium! (I am so completely out of proportion).

AD thinks he can make me a waitress belt thingy to wear around so I can be in full on waitress mode. Wonder if I could find an image of the True Blood label and make a few bottles to carry around...

And, yes, I literally slapped some make-up on right before I took this picture. Those Merlotte's waitresses usually have it caked on good.

haha thanks, but don't you meak adorkable ;-) You don't want to know how many pictures it took before I could make a semi-normal face, I was so psyched to have my Merlotte's shirt haha.

I just wish the Tru Blood (http://www.trubeverage.com/) was coming out before the con, I would totally buy a batch of the over-priced stuff just to carry around...

Haha.. adorkable works too. And that drink actually sounds pretty tasty... ;) I bet you could totally work something passable up for the comm though. Even go all the way with it and do some homemade fake blood, ala karo syrup and an obscene amount of food colouring, and there's probably some high resolution version of the label out there somewhere too you could just print out.

jellibean said she heard the Tru Blood bottles were just modified Sobe bottles, so I'm going to make AD drink some of that and then print out a few makeshift labels (they may not be screen accurate but whatev).

Awesome! Apparently, True Blood bottles are modified SoBe bottles. I'm sure someone has made labels and posted them online--you could make a bottle, fill it with a red alcoholic liquid, and carry it around with you. :)

wait until you see the pics from dragon*con - there should be a HUGE gang of us, I think currently 10 people have said they are attending as Merlotte's waitresses, but that's only the LJ crowd, so who knows how many will be wandering...I'm SO excited!!!

The Tru Blood drink doesn't come out until a few days before the Con and it's really expensive for such a silly drink. jellibean pointed out that the ones in the show are modified SOBE bottles, so I'm stealing them from AD when he is done with them to stick "Tru Blood" stickers on. :D
