AD got me 'Dark City' on blu-ray for Christmas so we're watching it right now and who should pop up as one of the tuning/alien creature peoples?

Zedd from Legend of the Seeker and Faramir from Lord of the Rings!

So random. I guess they must have filmed in Australia or New Zealand.

Hah! I haven't seen that in ages.. I bet I didn't even know who David Wenham was back then. But YAY FOR THAT MOVIE ON BLURAY! I might have to add that to ye olde wishlist myself.. I love it so. :)

Is that my punishment or because of the Aussie connection? ;-)

Actually, I haven't seen that in AGES. Probably for a reason, I don't want to sully the memory.

No, babe. It's because Bruce Spence is far more recognizable as the guy in the mini-copter in Road Warrior than as one of the Misters in Dark City.

And don't worry about sullying the memory. The film stands up. It's a real classic. We rented it a little over a year ago, and it was so good my buddy bought me the Blu-ray for Christmas.

The Road Warrior, Aliens, Tremors, and Serenity are four movies that I would re-watch any time.

Ooooooh? I'll have to Netflix that bad boy. Aliens, Tremors, and Serenity I've seen multiple times because they are always on TV, but Road Warrior does not get the rerun love...
