Yeah, it looks pretty, and from what I'm reading, they made an effort to match the 2D animation look even though it's CG.

I was also looking forward to another old school animated, but it does look cute. I always liked Rapunzel, so I was looking forward to this. (And still am.)

I will say that it seems a little err...I dunno how to say it, but he seems a bit older than she is. Like 25 dashing, rogue of a thief and a 14 year old girl in a tower. lol. The way her face is just makes her seem so young.

They are always way older, aren't they? We just let them get away with it because it's a fairy tale. No one wants to see a 14 year old girl and a 14 year old boy (because he'd just be making booby jokes the whole time)

That's true, I did see 'Saved'. I think I tend to get Mandy confused with Jessica "Dumb as a stump why should I brush my teeth if they are so white" Simpson. Didn't Mandy start her own clothing line too? Okay, I feel better about this movie now. :)

I dunno! But she seems to be funny without being retarded like JSimp. haha. Mandy is funny because she is a good actress and seems like a generally fun person. Jessica Simpson is funny because it is a shock she can dress herself or walk without falling constantly.

I'm rather dissapointed.

I wanted the fully animated classic princess tale with pretty songs.

I mean - frog princess was almost that - but the songs were quite mediocre.

Yeah, the songs in 'Princess & the Frog' just were not quite there. I enjoyed it but it was no "Beauty & the Beast". You'd think with the success of shows like "Glee" Disney would stop acting so embarassed about it's showtune past.
