So, I am all caught up on the fifth "season" of Doctor Who. A reminder, this is my first Doctor. I was walking around Shore Leave and looking at Doctor Who stuff and if he didn't have on a bowtie I would say "no, that's not MY Doctor". I'm seriously in love with both The Doctor and Amy Pond...and I guess even Rory (he's like a poor man's Alan Tudyk).

I really loved the entire season. Even with all the other TV I have waiting for me on the DVR, I'm tempted to just rewatch Doctor Who and relive the magic. I loved the first meeting of The Doctor and Amy. I thought the Angels were some of the creepiest creatures to come along in awhile. I cried at the end of Vincent & The Doctor. And the finale? Whoa. I loved the entire season.

I feel a livejournal layout change coming on...yes...I feel it might be time to let Kahlan take a break and bring on The Doctor. Heck, I've already changed the background on my desktop to the official Doctor Who wallpaper.

that's all really, too late for any deep thoughts on the subject, I just wanted to say something. I can't believe we have to wait until Christmas for a new episode!!!! But I guess quality of quantity is the name of the game.

Why has no one made a "Raggedy Doctor" doll??? I mean, seriously, it would be the easiest thing to market....I'm just sayin', if I had any sewing skillz, I would be all over that!

Oh, I would totally want a raggedy doctor!

I found the shirt Amy wears in the eps with the angels. That will be the costume I'm going to put together first. Even if I don't get to go to D*C, maybe I will get to go to a different con. lol.

I totally added 9's season, and the seasons with 10 to netflix to watch. :D

Of course, then I started on Sanctuary tonight. XD

I still have to see the last 3 episodes. :/ I can't wait to catch up to everyone else. haha.

Eleven is your first Doctor?! That's awesome. :) (My first doctor was Four. Yey for PBS in the mid-nineties!)

I cry even just thinking about "Vincent & The Doctor"; that episode held so much personal meaning for me and the fact that it was beautifully executed just added to it.

I'm trying to convince one of my coworkers to make me a Raggedy Doctor doll. She keeps talking about how she wants another project to work on...

I used to watch the Tom Baker episodes randomly on PBS but don't actually remember any of them. My parents have been watching Ten for awhile but I just never got into Tenant. Something about Matt Smith...and Gillan Jacobs.

If you convince her to make you one, tell her she needs to make at least 3 ;-)

I know! He's cute in a very different sort of way, I can't quite put my finger on it. I think it's because he's a total goof.

Same here. I know I watched the Christmas Invasion episode and I was sort of like "eh". But straight from the first few moments of "The Eleventh Hour", I was hooked. Maybe it was adorable little Amelia Pond...kid's with Scottish accents are too cute haha.

Me too! I watched the first two episodes of #9 and just felt they were typical Who fare and never bothered to watch it again until "Christmas Invasion" was on Instant View on Netflix. None of them made me feel the need to watch the way this series does (I just rewatched the first two episodes of 11 again...)

I've heard a lot about Torchwood, though a lot of people seemed really unhappy with the finale to the series, so I've been hesitant to start watching it. I know James Marsters stops by and I think everyone on the show is bisexual LOL!
