quick update before I play more Civ V

- Civ V is awesome.

- Watched 'Raising Hope' and DVR'd 'Running Wilde', both were far more amusing than I expected. We'll have to see if they make it past the pilot.

- Attempted to watch 'Glee' premiere but realized that show is just not for me. Sorry folks.

- OMG SUZANNE COLLINS BOOKSIGNING TOMORROW!!!!!! I've got my District 12 Tribute shirt in my bag so I can change after work. AAAAAH!

- OMG COMMUNITY PREMIERE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!! I HAVE MISSED GREENDALE SO MUCH!!!!!!!

- it smells like farts in here...I think Apollo was eating the new crunchy food and it did not agree with him.

- I have a random job interview on Monday! I put in an application for the AskUsNow! Operations Assistant position, which is part-time and mostly online stuff. I'm hoping I can qualify to telecommute it and get some extra $$$$. But I'm not going to get my hopes too high. At least it gets my name out there though!

- I like the new Maroon 5 album. It sounds like Maroon 5. (Seriously, I'm not going to pretend they are the best band evar or anything, but they know how to write sexy!tunes)

- New Girl!Crush: Emma Stone. I need to see EASY A, like, right now. Hoping I can convince someone to go this weekend maybe.

- Something else was going to go here, but now I've forgotten what it was...... [EDIT: remembered now, Kristen Bell was on Craig Ferguson this week and she was freakin ADORABLE! I still love her, she is my #1 Girl Crush, but Emma Stone is def. in the top ten list now I think]

OKay, I have to go kick Hiawatha's butt. Jerk was picking on my last night.

My bff Taylor always liked Civ and I was a Heroes of Might & Magic girl. lmao.

I was totally expecting to like Running Wilde MORE than I did and Raising Hope LESS than I did.

I still haven't watched last seasons finale for Glee. And oddly am not excited about it being back as of yet.

Love Emma Stone. House Bunny and Zombieland sealed it and I am super excited to go see Easy A with Smashley and Destiny and maybe Angela on Saturday. :D

Civ is so much fun but in a totally dorky time-sinking kind of way. Even the "short game" is HOURS and HOURS.

I did not expect to like Raising Hope at all but the scene in the grocery store, where he asks about the baby food and the ethnic babies on the labels...I LOL'd.

Too soon for small pox jokes...LOL! *hugs* this is why you are my friend! Also, I may have recruited another librarian for the D*C-2011 trip...but then again, everyone agrees to stuff when it's a year away!

I used to spend days playing Heroes. I still have the disks. haha. I wonder if I could still remember the cheat codes? XD

OMG I LOVED THAT. "I said it might be a dumb question." hahaha. I love the parenting flashbacks to his childhood as well.

First rule of small pox club. We don't joke about small pox club. If this is your first night at small pox club, you will have to share a blanket with someone else. Or something. lol.

YAY MORE PEOPLE! arysani wants to dress up in a weeping angel costume and has a friend who will be 10 and i'll be amy and you'll be river and and and and yes. It will be a whole WHO group. *glee*

Glee... well, while I don't think I would ever recommend that show to anyone, because I have some major problems with it even during the best episodes, I will say that this last one was not a great one with which to judge it's appeal. The music choices were worse than usual (I fast-forwarded through most of it), and the cracky lulz were eclipsed by a particularly mean-spirited storyline.
