There is much debate over whether or not the song has been officially approved yet. Al's blog post said Lady Gaga did not approve it, then another press release said that Lady Gaga's management is the one that denied it but she approved it. maybedeadcat, andy_wolverton, and simontrueheart: if you have not EXPERIENCED Weird Al LIVE then you WILL be experiencing it with me!!!! I've seen him 3 times and each show is just so hilarious.
In other news - finally started the Single Player mode of Portal 2 today. First, I have to say, OMG STEPHEN MERCHANT! SERIOUSLY? I already had a bit of a crush on him from the Ricky Gervais Show bits, he cracks me up. But now he does a voice in PORTAL 2!!!???!! Yes, I wanted to hug his little robot! Played a LOT of the co-op mode yesterday which is also a total blast. If you got the game, hop over togamertree - I'm trying to get a good discussion going over there!!!
Just got done watching BtVS s6e10 Wrecked withmaybedeadcat (it's his first time watching the series so don't post any spoilers). Suffice it to say, that really has to be one of my least favorite episodes. I mean, lots of people point at Beer Bad and wrinkle their nose and say it was the worst, but at least it had a great sense of humor. Wrecked is so heavy handed in the drug metaphor and so damn dark! But, I'm sure the writers knew this at the time, but just felt stuck because they had to make Willow admit to her addiction and having everything fall apart is really the only way for that to happen. At least the next two episodes are much lighter...
...thoughmaybedeadcat mentioned he needs to watch BSG (which he def. does since he's coming to Dragon*Con with me and there are SO many BSG people there) and now I kind of want to rewatch that and it's all streaming on Netflix too...all this "working" stuff really eats into my video game and watching tv shows time!!!
Oh, and everyone wave HELLOOOOO towicked0witch, my newest LJ friend. She is a HUGE Doctor Who fan, cosplays as Amy, has some amazing costumes.
