Not-A-NaNoWriMo Post

So, I tried doing NaNoWriMo in 2009 and it did NOT go well at all. You can see me fumbling around on my dreamwidth blog.
Anyway, this year I'm thinking I might at least try to WRITE something in November, but not get bogged down with the whole "novel" idea. Writing anything would be good. I found a Writing Prompts site that I bookmarked ages ago and I think I'm going to use that and post something, ANYTHING, each day to practice my creative writing skills, which I have not even touched since...well 2009. And that was barely a touch, more of a poke. Er...wait, that sounds wrong...
I signed up for
mini_nanowrimo - played it safe and just did 100 words per day. I think I can handle that!
I'm hoping maybe
andy_wolverton will think this is a good idea too because then we can encourage each other. :)
