Reddit and weep

So I finally got a reddit account...I'm a little over-whelmed by the site
already. How does one read this thing? Are you supposed to post your own
things or just links to other content or...what is this?

To hear redditors talk, it's the place where all the Internet comes from! LOL, like the memes and such start there, get put on tumblr, find their way to Facebook then end up on Pinterest. I wanted to check it out, but it's just crazy! THERE IS TOO MUCH!

I think Reddit needs to die then. I am so sick and tired of all the memes on FB. I've had to block or remove friends for some of their content :/
