My parents gave me a birthday card a few years ago...on the outside was some sentiment about how I'm all grown up but it feels like I just left home...and when you open the card it says "maybe because so much of your stuff is still here".

Which is true, I still store a lot of my childhood randomness at their house. That's what a house is for, to store your shit! (George Carlin FTW!)

Anyway, it never fails that when I got ot visit them on a holiday, I will come home with SOMETHING from my "play room". This Father's Day was no exception. I went into the basement to look for toys that I could take to the park with Sylvia (which I did find) but I came home with a box of Disney figurines and buttons.




I will now drive everyone crazy on Instagram/Tumblr as I take photos of all these random figurines I have collected over the years. They used to be displayed on the map of Italy my parents had purchased while living there. It was the entire "boot" with little shelves all over it. It started out as a display case of any Kinder Egg toys we collected, but then turned into a little cartoon figurine holder.
