See, winter was coming soon. Casey decided that he needed to build something that required a pile of ashes so he thought, hey, I will burn down this tree over here.

And then this happened:





The tree caught the farm on fire which lit the crockpot on fire and then our chests of goodies and then while I was all "oooh gotta take a selfie" I died in the fire (which is sad because my girl LOVES fire...)

**sigh** It all seemed to be going so well for once!

It's called "Don't Starve" and it's available for PC, PS4, and I think iPad/Android tablets now too. There is a single player game and they just released a multiplayer version, which we have been playing most Tuesday nights with our friend in California.

It's a survival/gathering/building game which just drops you into a random world and says "okay, don't starve!". It took me awhile to get the hang of it but I really like it, very addictive!

HAHA I love how people see us all dying in a fire and they want to play too haha. It is a really fun game though! Next time they have a sale on STEAM, I'll post. I got the game for $5 and I've played it enough to know it's worth that and more. They also just put out a "pocket edition" for tablets too.

Wait, Willow can die in a fire now? Is she not immune to fire in the multiplayer version?

ALSO YES, I KNOW ALL TOO WELL THE HEARTBREAK OF LIGHTING A FIRE TOO CLOSE TO CAMP. It is why I am afraid to play Willow any more. I have burned everything down too many times because I forgot her sanity was low and she was like OOPS LIT A FIRE RIGHT HERE IN MY BASE.

Apparently! I was surprised too! I think they finally turned off the whole "light fire when going crazy" thing, at least in the multiplayer.

It was pretty hilarious, I felt bad for Casey because we had just survived the second wolf attack, managed to gather bunnies for earmuffs and winter was starting and then he lit that fire and it was all over LOL. Tim said he needed a break from DST after this week, I think he was a little upset. He doesn't deal well with dying (though he tends to charge into battle unprepared but whatever...boys)
