I used to doodle all the time when I was a kid. Drawing, like so many other things, was a great way to exercise my mind and feel good about the finished product.

Of course, then I encountered people with natural talent and it made me embarrassed and I kinda stopped doodling in public.

BUT NOT ANYMORE!

I'm not that great, but I want to start working on drawing again, if only to amuse myself. So here is my first drawing for Inktober2017:

The themes were "swift" and "divided" but my brain just came up with this. I'm sure if you stare at it long enough, the themes fit. :P

Tomorrow is POISON and I already have an idea...here's hoping I can get the picture in my brain onto paper!

Want to join in the fun? You can find the prompt list here or just draw what you want!

Aw, I think that's quite a good drawing...poor mouse! And really, drawing is like writing, the more of it you do the better you get, at least as long as you try to learn from your experience.

Psshhh, natural talent? I'm not sure such a thing exists at all. Go you with the practising and having fun! \o/
