OMG that was SO MUCH FUN! Bastille sounded FANTASTIC live. My Mom had a wonderful time too (and I think if she was a young adult now, she would totally be a vidder. She kept telling me how she felt each song matched up with her favorites shows. If someone wants to make a Sleepy Hollow fanvid using "Bad Blood", you would make her day, just throwing it out there).

The concert was at the Patriot Center, which is in Fairfax, VA - an hour drive from home. We got down there around 5pm and had a delicious dinner at the Bollywood Bistro. I had been craving Indian food for ages and I don't know anywhere in the Glen Burnie area to get the good stuff, so when I stumbled upon this place when Googling for restaurants around the venue, I knew it was where we would go. If you are in the are or live near by, it's definitely worth a trip. SO GOOD! We were STUFFED when we left, which is why I think my Mom agreed to stand up during the concert because sitting was just too much LOL.

Our seats were AWESOME! We were CC and I thought that would be, you know, 28 rows back. But NO! They STARTED with AA so we were the third row back from the floor. Great view of the stage, center of the room.

Grizfolk opened the show and I really liked their sound too. They have an EP of 5 songs out, I'm tempted to buy it but will give it a few more listens on Spotify before I commit. They had a good stage presence though and got the audience psyched up for the show.

Bastille played a new song called "Blame" and also a cover of "No Scrubs" which was really random but fun.

And though I'm not usually one of those people who record video at the concert, I had to snag a clip of the finale, with Grizfolk on stage and the audience doing the "pogo stick" as lead singer Dan Smith called it. You can just FEEL the energy.

If they are playing near you, GET TICKETS! I think this will be the last time you see them in a venue this small.

Finally watched Kill the Moon and...I dunno, I think I might be done with Doctor Who. It wasn't a bad episode, but it felt like ground we had already covered multiple times with 10 and 11. I have the next episode ready to watch but I'm just sorta..meh about it.

On the other hand, I did keep going with SHIELD (had it on in the background while running around in Final Fantasy) and I feel like it's setting up some interesting plot lines.

OAUT is still just a show. Not compelling enough for me to get excited about but it makes for good breakfast watching.

And coming completely out of left field, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles SHOCKED me with a twist ending. I was not expecting so many feels from a Nickelodeon cartoon!

...er, I guess Korra is back too? Haven't watched any of the new episodes yet. Whoops.
