holy crap how did I not know about this --- MIRRORMASK -- a film made by the Jim Henson company and written by Neil Gaiman!!!! freaky stuff. Right outta Dark Crystal, Labrynth, and Coraline. Ooooooh, this could be fun!!

Just because nobody mentioned it I'm going to say you should read "Stardust". I don't think it's as good as some of Gaiman's other works but it's still REALLY good. But certainly read " american gods" first. And MIRRORMASK looks very good indeed.

I actually have a copy of "Stardust" that I took from the old withdrawn pile back when I was paging at MDC...and I know I read it but for the life of me I can't remember it! But it's on my list, yet since I own it, it keeps getting pushed aside for the books I only get for 3 weeks.
